Need a breather before Christmas? Come and slow down for a couple of hours of calm, colour and creativity. In a small, friendly group, we’ll paint together step-by-step, creating a beautiful set of Christmassy watercolours.
I promise you are absolutely going to be able to do this (even if you haven’t picked up a paintbrush since school!).
You’ll head home with at least 4 beautiful festive paintings to keep, gift or turn into your own set of luxury cards.

Then you’re my favourite type of person! You’re absolutely going to be able to do this and I’m going to really enjoy showing you how. Some other classes ask you to copy one big showpiece. At Art Social you’ll discover simple ways to make several beautiful creations and go home with the confidence to create even more.
Please be prompt, if you can…
If you arrive 10 minutes early you can place any orders at the bar, get settled and the class can kick off bang on 2.30. If you are running late, stay calm and I’ll help you catch up when you arrive. Nothing worse than getting in a fluster when you’re supposed to be feeling mellow. We’ve all been there and we’ll all understand.
Eats and Drinks
The food is great (with several vegan options), cocktails delicious and the staff are laid-back and friendly. Please note that menu items are not included in your ticket but are available to purchase at the bar. Outside food and drinks are not allowed.
Age restrictions
This event is suitable for well-behaved teens and adults. If you are under 18 you’ll need to be accompanied by a grown-up.
Cancellations
Can’t make it? Aww shame! As this is a small business, I’m afraid no refunds can be given - but any friend of yours can use the ticket that you’ve paid for. Please notify me as soon as possible if you’re not coming or plan to send in a sub.
What to bring and wear
Everything will be provided. Just bring your lovely self, preferably in something you don’t mind getting paint on, just in case.

It’s on the bridge next door to Sauce & Flour and across the road from Bakedd.
The warm and welcoming Bardo Lounge is in Maidenhead’s swanky Waterside Quarter. It’s an artists dream with its colourful decor and walls crowded with oil paintings.
Art Socials happen at a long table to the right of the bar toward the back of the lounge.
Parking
If you’re a Pay & Display fan, you’re spoilt for choice in Maidenhead.
The closest is Hines Meadow multi-story which is on St Clouds Way, SL6 1QZ.
Floors 1 and above have public bays which you can pay for using good old, straightforward coins - or the RingGo app if signal allows before your head explodes.
There are various exits and routes to Bardo Lounge which is a very short distance away. If you’re a stranger to Maidenhead the best thing would be to allow ten minutes for the walk (which is plenty) and use the sat nav on your phone.
As this event is happening close to Christmas, please allow plenty of time to find a space. There are a plethora of other parking options if you look on-line.
