Embrace the pause! Whip out your notebook and get drawing!

• Doodle that tubby bloke in your train carriage, scoffing a scotch egg.

• Capture that still life composition on the conveyer belt at Aldi.

• Sketch that scene from your window while the hold music plays on...and on.

You'll soon be drawing like mad in the car wash, the dentist's waiting room, on the touchline and at the back of the Assembly Hall while your kid waits an eternity to recite his one measly line in the school play.
